Information Systems

This department offers opportunities to work in programming, development, networking and computer hardware support.

Industrial Mechanic

Become an industrial mechanic and keep our manufacturing facilities operating efficiently by performing general repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment to help maintain production flow.


Production Team Members work efficiently and in a safe manner, maintain high quality standards and help to ensure that guest expectations are met. Positions include forklift operation, machine operation and product assembly.

Manager Trainee

Join the Midwest Manufacturing management team by becoming a Manager Trainee. This position is responsible for learning all production, management and supervision operations of their assigned Midwest Manufacturing production facility. With training and an ability to relocate, promotions to Assistant Plant Manager, Plant Manager and more are available.


We have internship opportunities available to students currently enrolled in a college, technical or graduate school. These great internship opportunities will give you the tools you need to pursue a rewarding career. We have internships in Management, Human Resources, Information Systems, Engineering and Design.

Human Resources

The HR Department is responsible for servicing and maintaining Midwest Manufacturing's most valuable resources: its Team Members! This department serves as the hub of communication in the recruitment of various positions and is also responsible for implementing strategies and policies relating to the Team.


This Team develops and maintains financial data. Positions in this department involve specialized work in developing and maintaining financial data at Midwest Manufacturing. They supply accurate and timely information and support the Division Controller and other management personnel.

Sales & Service

Sales and Service Representatives travel across the Midwest to Menards stores, guest homes, trade shows and jobsites to promote, educate, inspect and troubleshoot Midwest Manufacturing products. They work with various vendors to promote all of our products. They also train Menards store Team Members about the benefits of new items and how to properly sell product lines.


The Engineering Teams provide hardware and software design for machine systems. They work with robotics, PLC, HMI, and similar programs that are used to automate our production lines into our business systems.


There are structural design opportunities with our Truss and Post Frame Departments. Truss Estimators and Designers play a key role in developing truss manufacturing designs from blueprints to job-specific standards. The Post Frame Department is made up of Estimators, CAD Operators and Structural Engineers who work together to sell special order Post Frame buildings. They provide structural calculations and code compliance of building plans.

Office Support

These positions exist at the Midwest Manufacturing General Office and at most of our plants. These individuals are responsible for supporting Team Members in their department by filing, answering phones, entering data, running reports, scheduling, handling payroll, organizing and carrying out other miscellaneous duties.
