Siemens automatic transfer switch includes pre-wired critical circuit branch breakers and provide transfer capability to a select number of circuits, as opposed to the entire house. For the chosen critical circuits, the conductors in the main house panel are removed from the breaker and connected with wire nuts to the prewired conductors on the transfer switch.
