The Basic FreezeAlarm provides easy and affordable protection from frozen pipes by calling any one telephone number when the temperature drops below 45 degrees F (7 C) in your remote home or vacation property. The unit plays a voice alarm message warning of a temperature emergency and will continue to call every two hours (or every 15 minutes if desired) until you call back to your home where the FreezeAlarm is and cancel the alarm call-out. Works well with answering machines and voice mail.
