The EPBG44-TZ Triple Zinc Elevated Post Base 4 X 4 allows installers to pre-align posts and preset post heights above concrete floors or footings. By eliminating post-to-concrete contact, moisture damage is reduced. Welded from 16 gauge steel (tube and U-bracket) with triple zinc finish for added corrosion resistance.
- Use all specified fasteners: 8 16d HDG nails.
- For use with treated lumber.
- Not recommended for fence posts or other unrestrained (not fixed or fastened at top) applications. These anchors are not designed to resist overturning (moment) loads.
