The HUS24-2IF Slant Nail Face Mount Hanger Inverted Flange (2) 2" X 4-6" offers double shear nailing. The raised dimple allows for 30 to 45 degree nailing through the joist into the header, resulting in higher loads and less nailing. Constructed of 14 gauge steel with triple zinc finish.
- Use all specified fasteners: 4 16d nails for header, 2 16d nails for joist.
- Nor for use with treated lumber.
- Joist nails must be driven at a 30 to 45 degree angle through the joist or truss into the header to achieve listed loads. Standard length "double shear" nails must be used to achieve listed load values.
