It isn't a bad saw for cutting wood for building a deck or a wall, but it is not for precision work, such as moulding or cabinetry. I have cut 4"x4"s with it when building a raised garden. I did have to replace the switch on mine about 2 months after the warranty expired.
You get what you pay for, This saw is great for making 2 pcs of wood, just not the ones you want.

I question why they sell this saw, I could not get the blade to cut a simple 90 degree cut, too much wobble in the slide, I ruined about 70 dollars in material before I took it back. I am waiting until I can afford a quality saw, and use my dewalt 10" miter and table saw until then. Don't waste you money on this saw, cheaply made, poor quality, not a percision cut.
